I can't think of what to say

Julie Swack John Swack

I'm going to try to blog everyday. I read that if you want your blog "found" by people on Google, you need to do it everyday.

Last night, Minnie, Lacey and I went to Nashville to see "Wizard of Oz". We left at 5 and got back at midnight! It was a long night. It was hot in the theater, we brought Lacey's Dorothy wig and red shoes, her basket of Oz characters and my huge purse. Oh, and my camera that I couldn't even use because you'd get in trouble if you took pix! The guy next to me was drinking a Coke and Bacardi (or some type of smelly liquor) and he got another one after intermission. I had a headache on the way home. Lacey slept part of the way down there and most of the way home. When we got home, I tried to pick her up and she was a bear! She and I slept in my bed and Johnny slept in Lacey's bed.

This morning, I slept until 8:00! It felt so good. I tried to get a few things cleaned up/straightened, but I just haven't felt like doing anything. I get SO tired of doing it and then it's all messed up again within hours. Also, our "swivel sweeper" won't work because it won't hold a charge. AND, the Roomba's battery is doing the same thing. It will run for only 20 minutes or so and then say it's done.

Lacey went to a b-day party this afternoon at the skating rink from 2-5. Johnny stayed with her until 3:30 and then I got her at 4:50. She said that no one would walk around with her after Johnny left while she skated, but the truth is that she wouldn't accept anyone's help. So, she was just standing on the side when I got there. I felt so sorry for her! Well, when we got home, she said her throat was hurting. I felt her forehead and it was warm. I took her temp. and it was 100.9! She wasn't acting like she felt that bad except for the throat. So, we're at home and everyone else is at Western's game. I've been wanting to skip a game!

Johnny's SS class is going to see "Tales of Despereaux" tomorrow afternoon. I guess Lacey and I won't even be going to church now. I have to go tomorrow afternoon, though at 4 for a choir/musical meeting. I have a feeling that I won't be directing the musical. We'll see what happens.
