I broke my left big toe!

Last night I tripped on something on the floor in the kitchen and broke my left big toe! I didn't know until I went to the dr. this morning. I couldn't believe it! I said, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" to the dr. I have a short walking boot. I thought crutches would be better, but the boot works good and it protects my big toe. It looks worse every few hours.
